We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment – check in, relax and enjoy the Vacation Shop.

What To Wear:

  • Dark, loose clothing and flip-flops.
  • Your tan lines are up to you. Get Airbrushed in a swimsuit or a thong is up to you (dark colors only). Nikki Tans sells disposable panties if needed.
  • When raining – loose sweat pants, a hoodie and Rainboots or Uggs are best for rainy weather. This will protect your airbrush spray tan from water damage or spotting. Please pack an umbrella.
  • Coming from work, Pack you Pj’s.

Before you visit:

  • Shave and exfoliate (sugar scrub) your skin before your appointment paying extra attention to dry areas like your elbows, knees and ankles.
  • Please Shower a few hours before your appointment. Showering right before will not allow the tanning solution to adhere to your skin.
  • Arriving to your appointment with clean skin, no lotion, make-up or deodorant.
  • Manicures, pedicures, waxing and/or shaving (all those girly things) must be done the day before your scheduled appointment.

After

  • Looking for best results? "Nikki recommends showering the following day... " Quick rinse with luke warm water for about 5 minutes. Do not scrub in the shower and pat dry. Johnsons Baby head-to-toe-body-wash is the best choice for liquid soap (Dove soap will remove fifty percent of you tan).
  • It will take up to 12 hours for your airbrush tan to process. Once you take your first initial shower after your airbrush spray tan you are then free to sit poolside, take a Barre class or any other physical activity.
  • A mani or pedi after your airbrush tan will remove the tanning color. "Nikki recommends only a polish change..."
  • Going for a massage on vacation? A massage with oil will remove your tanning color. Pack your Indulge Lotion sold Nikki Tans.
  • For maximum results, apply moisturizer twice daily; the tan should last between 7-14 days.

What to Avoid

  • Long hot showers, scrubbing, chlorine water, steamrooms & jacuzzis
  • A hot yoga class or wearing a tight sports bra the following day
